Followed by Yin Yoga @ 7:30PM EST

It's a form of gentle yoga that through long holds of postures (2 to 7 minutes) gets into the deeper tissues of the body that don't get stimulated and stretched as deeply through regular movement
Yin yoga is done completely on the floor (except for one or two postures) with the use of props to help aid in ease and relaxation
It's beginner friendly
It has a mindfulness component as there is a lot of silence where you get to have your own experience and not be distracted by a lot of chatter and movement
It's more than just a good 'stretch'. Yin yoga targets the deeper tissues like fascia and the joint space. Those tissues need stimulation from gentle, persistent pressure.
That gentle, persistent pressure is what triggers those deeper tissues to produce hydrating substances that keep them moist and pliable so they don't stick together and restrict your movement as you age
It aids in helping you to release stress and relax into the present moment
